“Stewardship of Clonony”
Restorer & Proprietor of Clonony Castle
Rebecca Armstrong Black has dedicated years to the preservation of Clonony Castle. Her commitment and stewardship have ensured that this extraordinary monument has survived where so many others have been lost to neglect.
Today, Clonony Castle stands in large part because of her efforts. It is Rebecca who greets every Coghlan who makes the journey home to Offaly with the same warm words — Welcome Home. Her story is now woven into the very fabric of the castle.
